FAQs |
-
Where do you export pharmaceuticals
and over-the-counter (OTC) medicines?
We export into any country unless prohibited
by U.K law. The purchaser is required to clear all shipments
through local customs.
-
What is the country of origin
for the products you sell?
We supply products from United Kingdon and overseas manufacturers
which have been approved by the Medicines & Healthcare
Products Regulatory Authority (MHRA), a division of the
UK Department of Health.
-
Do you sell direct to consumers?
No, we sell strictly to hospitals, pharmacies and distributors
in the U.K and outside of the U.K.
-
What is involved in registering
a product with a government’s Ministry of Health
(MOH)?
Every country regulates what it imports and the regulations
are especially strict for consumables. In the case of
pharmaceuticals, most countries have specific
governmental departments that regulate prescription medicines
such as the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory
Agency (MHRA) in the United Kingdom pharmaceutical companies
must submit a dossier of legalized documents on the manufacturing
and production of each product for registration, along
with samples for testing. Once all the documents have
been submitted and the samples tested, the MOH decides
whether or not to grant a license.
-
What are the benefits of distributing
our product(s) to foreign countries?
Many foreign markets are rapidly growing and
developing. Most emerging markets must import their medicines
from outside sources. Through exporting your products
into these countries, you can increase your revenue opportunities
and impact future growth.
